Anti-Patterns¶
MIC is also defined by what it refuses to normalize.
- Leaky abstractions - framework details crossing the domain boundary.
- Shared database between services - coupling through storage instead of contracts.
- Magic DI containers - invisible dependencies that make tests and reviews harder.
- Retry without idempotency - resilience that duplicates side effects.
- Stringly typed APIs - contracts that look flexible but fail late.
